Talented Student makes her First Keepsake Jewelry!

Rachels-first silver keepsake jewelry pieces

I consider myself lucky! I get to teach what I love and meet the most interesting people along the way.

Most of my Fingerprint and keepsakes classes are 1-1  Nearly all of these students fly in from far away to get themselves a headstart in this fun new way of setting op a business from home!

Not so with Rachel, she also wants to develop into a home run business, but she lives pracrically nextdoor! Only 15 minutes from the studio:)

We had a great day together last Friday, I think she was amazed how easy it all is and that she could do it so well! We covered all the techniques she wanted to learn, made a fingerprint charm necklace, a fingerprint heart pendant and a stamped doughnut. In the process a lot of other techniques were covered, such as making photopolymer plates and setting a stone in metalclay, an action packed day! Rachel has a great eye for detail, always an asset when you make jewelry and lots of new ideas she’s eager to try out at home, and now she has the skills to put her plans into action!

Can’t wait to see how she is going to develop this business! Go Rachel!
